Craig Bennett joined the Loggers athletic department as the Head Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2005. Prior to arriving at Puget Sound, Craig served as the Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Redlands from 2004-05 and as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Chapman University from 1998-2004. He served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Chapman from 1996-1998 where he earned his Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.

Bennett earned his Bachelor of Science in Movement and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Chapman in 1996. He played soccer for the Panthers where he earned Umbro Select All-American honors as a goalkeeper and Adidas Academic All-American honors his senior year. That year, the Panthers also advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. In 2010, he was elected into the Chapman Athletic Hall of Fame.

He has spent time working as a certified athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Heat Firefighter football team of the National Public Safety Football League from 1998-2004 and the US Youth Soccer Region IV Olympic Development Program from 1998 to the present. Craig also spent six years as a part-time professor in the Athletic Training Education Program at Chapman. In addition to those responsiblities, he coached the Panther women's soccer program for four seasons, guiding them to four NCAA tournament appearances and three NSCAA Top 25 finishes.

In his spare time, Craig enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, training for triathlons and watching sports and movies. Craig and his wife Tiffany have a son Cade and a daughter Riley.
