The varsity-eight squad grabbed a first-place finish with a time of 7:02.50, and the second varsity-eight won with a time of 7:24.13. The two boats combined for 42 points for Puget Sound.

"We've talked all year about how all the stars are aligned for us to have a strong season," said Puget Sound head coach Aaron Benson. "The prospect of winning the inaugural NWC championship has been a huge motivator for us. Today we managed to seize that opportunity by putting together a good performance in every boat."
