Weekend in California

The Loggers return from the Slugfest Tournament hosted by UC Santa Cruz, with a 1-0 victory over Chapman (Sept. 13) and a scoreless tie against UC Santa Cruz (Sept. 15). Luke Murdock recorded his third goal of the season and Ethan Stern-Ellis tallied 11 saves on the weekend.

Defense driven

Puget Sound has kept its opponents scoreless for four straight games and has allowed only one goal in the past five games. The Loggers look to enter their NWC matches with the same energy and mentality.

Scouting George Fox (3-2-1, 0-0 NWC)

The Bruins return from California with a 1-0 victory over Cal Lutheran (Sept. 15) and a scoreless tie against Occidental (Sept. 13). George Fox has had a strong offensive start to its season, as the Bruins have put 30 of their 75 shots on goal.
