Loggers host Puget Sound Finale

TACOMA, Washington – One week after the Northwest Conference Championships, the Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams hosted the Puget Sound Finale Saturday afternoon in Wallace Pool. The Loggers welcomed teams from Whitworth, Lewis & Clark, College of Idaho, and Southwest Oregon Community College. No team scores were kept for the meet. 


Kelli Callahan, the two-time Northwest Conference Women's Swimmer of the Year, won two events Saturday. She was first in both the the 500-freestyle (5:04.00) and the 100-backstroke (1:00.22).

Bridget Fetty won the women's 200-IM (2:22.79), and Maddie Kriz took second in the event (2:23.41).

Dylan Reimers won the men's 200-IM with a time of 1:58.17. The Logger men took the top three finishes in the 50-freestyle, led by Matthew Cole (21.61), Eli Champagne (21.86), and Titus Dean (22.78).

Calista Skog finished second in the women's 50-freestyle (26.67) and third in the 100-backstroke (1:02.43). Anna Van Boven was third in the 500 freestyle (5:59.12). 

Callahan begins training for the NCAA D-III Championships, which is held in Greensboro, N.C., March 20-23.
