SEATTLE, Washington – Five Loggers made marks in Puget Sound's all-time top-five indoor track & field list during the Husky Classic Sunday.
Somehow, someway, Matt Wells continues to improve in the 60-m hurdles. He broke his own school record, again, by finishing in 8.28 seconds. His previous record was 8.31 seconds. Wells has either tied or set a new school record in the 60-m hurdles on five occasions during his collegiate career.
Miles Carlson finished the men's 60-m in 7.33 seconds, which is the fifth-fastest time in program history. Peter Ciari's shot put distance of 12.96-meters (42'6.25") is No. 5 all-time.
In women's competition, Samantha Schaffer's 10:20.86 mark in the women's 3,000-m run is the third-best time in Logger history. Alison Wise finished the 800-m run in 2:23.63, which is also the third-best time in record books.
