TACOMA, Washington – Although the Loggers are among the youngest teams in the nation, coaches are taking notice of the Puget Sound volleyball team's talented roster.
The Loggers received votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division-III Top 25 National Poll (click here). The Loggers enter the season with three juniors, 12 sophomores, and eight freshmen. Puget Sound does not have a senior on the roster (click here).
The 2019 schedule (click here) begins in Memorial Fieldhouse with the Puget Sound Premiere, Aug. 30-31. During the opening weekend Puget Sound has matches against Widener, Rose-Hulman, Wheaton (Ill.), and Pacific Lutheran (non-conference.).
The Loggers make two trips to California this fall. They compete in the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational (Sept. 6-7) and the La Verne Invitational (Sept. 13-14).
The Northwest Conference season begins at home against Whitman, Sept. 20.
